Vicki Lynn (Alberts) Wilson

Vicki Lynn Wilson, long-time Seminole resident, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in Seminole at the age of 54.  Vicki was born on April 8, 1968 in Ontario, CA to Carsten J. Alberts and  Nettie (Lane) Alberts.  She moved to Oklahoma at the age of 14.

Vicki enjoyed hiking around the lake, singing in the choir and bird watching.  She worked at JC Penny’s in Shawnee for 6 years and Stage in Seminole for 4 years. She was a longtime member of Highway Baptist Church.

Vicki is survived by her mother, Nettie Alberts; son, Jered Wilson and wife, Jacqueline of Seminole; two grandchildren, Bryton G. Wilson and Lyla R. Wilson and many other family and friends.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Carsten J. Alberts and brother, John Alberts.

A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Highway Baptist Church with Pastor Carl Whitfield officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
