Gordon Lee Brewer

Gordon Lee Brewer , age 48 and a resident of Tonkawa, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Vamoosa Baptist Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.  Tommy Jesse and Artie Hudson will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Greg Brewer, Remington Crenshaw, Todd Bowles, Lee Bolen, Corey Fixico, and Kevin Townley.

Gordon was born March 16, 1973 in Ada, Oklahoma to Roger Lee Brewer and Ella Jean “Jeanie” (Harrison) Brewer.  He graduated from Stuart High School and attended college at Seminole State College in Seminole, Oklahoma.  He married Kristel Ann Dimmick on June 20, 2020 in Perkins, Oklahoma.  He was a member of the Vamoosa Baptist Church.  He raised cattle and horses, and he was an avid sports fan.  Gordon was an auctioneer, and he loved attending livestock shows.

He is survived by his wife, Kristel Brewer of the home; his parents, Roger and Jeanie Brewer of Konawa, Oklahoma; one sister, Cinda Honsinger and husband, Bo of Konawa; two nieces, Kendra Honsinger and Maegan Honsinger; and one nephew, Corey Fixico; two great nieces, Nala Davis and Cora Davis; one great nephew, Luka Davis; one step-daughter, Megan Crenshaw and husband, Remington of Fairfax, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Reece and Cruze Crenshaw; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
