Longtime Seminole resident Zula Babb passed away on December 2, 2006 at the age of 84 in El Reno, Oklahoma.rnrnShe was born on March 6, 1922 to Clyde and Flora (Short) Davidson in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. She married William Zebdee Babb in 1937. rnrnZula owned and operated Peppermint Stick Caf? in Seminole for many years. She also worked at Pat?s Caf? and was a waitress in Phoenix, Arizona.rnrnShe is survived five sons and daughters-in-law: Don and Diane Babb of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Billy and Cecilia Babb of Peoria, Arizona, Jimmy and Alberta Babb of Ark City, Kansas, Ronnie Babb of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Ricky and Alice Babb of Yukon, Oklahoma, one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and John Martinez of Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Twenty-eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also survive her. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Zebdee Babb September 6, 1957, two sons: Ray and Tommy Babb, and daughter, Betty Jo Chambers. rnrnFuneral Services will be held at 11:30am, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Kennedy officiating.
