Zachary Antonio Williams

Zachary Antonio Williams, a Shawnee, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Friday, February 10, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 58. He was born September 7, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Chester Williams and Betty (Johnson) Sample. He was raised by James and Betty Sample. He married Alma Rosa Villegas on November 21, 2022.

Zachary graduated from Earlsboro High School in 1982. He attended Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech and studied aircraft mechanics. He worked many years at Wolverine and Georg Fisher in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was an avid OU and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed watching old movies and westerns, old sitcoms and muscle cars. He was a caring and loving husband, great brother and son. He was loved by many and was a loyal employee and a very humble and quiet man. He never had children but loved his nieces and nephew as his own.

Zachary is survived by his wife Alma Rosa Villegas of the home; his dad James Sample, his brother; Reginald Williams, sisters; Kathleen Adams and Vallorie (Demissie) Getachew, nieces; Catrena Jones and Megan Getachew and nephew Demissie Getachew, Jr., Uncle Dwain and Aunt Juanita Johnson, Uncle Emmanuel Johnson and other family members and friends.

The family will hold private services. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
