Winona Neel

Winona "Diane" Neel, age 58 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away from this life Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.  Will Macsas will officiate, and burial will follow at Little Cemetery.  Diane was born May 27, 1959 in Caldwell, Kansas to Earl Wayne Neel and Julia Margaret (Peschl) Neel.  She graduated from Strother High School and retired as the Sales Support Associate for J.C. Penney after thirty-five years.  Diane loved to visit with her nieces and nephews, and to watch and go to sporting events.  She also loved to read, travel, and visit family and friends.  Diane was a member of the Twin Oak Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, Richard Neel and wife, LaDonna of Seminole, Oklahoma; and one sister, Theresa Neel also of Seminole; two nieces, Ashley Neel of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Kirsten Stevenson and husband, Matthew of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one nephew, Matthew Neel of Seminole, Oklahoma, as well as many other beloved family members.
