Winford Millican

Winford “Doyle” Millican, age 85 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Ballard’s Nursing Center in Ada, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.  Mary Ann Dillon will officiate, and burial will be at Vamoosa Cemetery. Doyle was born on April 7, 1927 in Milburn, Oklahoma to Louada Millican.  He served our country in the army and later worked as a truck driver in the agricultural industry. He is survived by one brother, Edd Henson of Noble, Oklahoma and by one sister, Celia Heath of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bobby Millican, one sister, Billie Millican, and his wife, Scharlotte.
