Wilson Hill, 81, longtime Seminole area resident died Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Holdenville General Hospital. Mr. Hill was living in Wewoka at the time of his death. Wilson was born on June 30, 1931 in Hannah, Oklahoma to Samson and Rosanna (Brown) Hill. Mr. Hill was a storm door and window installer for the Nash Company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Hill served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received the Purple Heart. He loved to read his bible and attended area stomp dances. He loved fishing and his grandchildren. Wilson was survived by his wife Mary Larney of Seminole, Oklahoma, two sons Solomon Hill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and William Hill of Owasso, Oklahoma and his brother Benjamin Hill of Wetumka, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his grandchildren Deidra, James Waylon Buckner, Tyler Star, William Samson Hill and Shayde Ann Hill. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Houston Tiger officiating. There will be a wake service, Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M., with Rev. Bill Hobia officiating at the wake service.
