Willie I. Beshears, 87, longtime Seminole resident died October 1, 2010 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Willie was born July 4, 1923 to Anderson H. and Maude Lou (Shores) Allen in Hughes County. Willie was a retired Elderly Care Worker and had moved back to Seminole from California. While in California she work during the war in the Navy Shipyard as a Welder. She and her husband Max loved to go Bowling, Max and Willie were married February 7, 1941 in New Model near Wewoka, Oklahoma., he preceded her in death. Willie was a long time member of the Cheyarha Presbyterian Church and loved gardening and sharing her vegetables with others. Willie loved to sew for people who needed something and was always making quilts. She touched many lives during her lifetime and everyone loved her. Her son Robert Beshears of Seminole, Oklahoma, survives her. Two sisters Evelyn Tidmore of Seminole and Ella Weatherspoon of Tennessee also survive her. Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive her. Her parents, husband, Max and a brother Houston Allen precede her in death. Graveside services are planned for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Little Cemetery north of Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Bill Carr officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
