William Young

William Bernard Young passed away on January 10, 2007 at the age of 85 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home. rnrnHe was born on March 16, 1921 to William Nathan and Clara Louise (Mergen) Young in Omaha, Nebraska.rnrnHe married Barbara Fay (Cole) Young on August 15, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona.rnrnHe has been a Seminole resident since 2001 moving here from Palm Springs, California. He was retired from the Army after 20 years of service. He was a golf pro in South Lake Tahoe and was also active in the senior olympics in Palm Springs, California.rnrnHe is survived by two daughters; Patricia "Patty" Edgell of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Pamela Tabel of Brentwood, California, one sister, Louise Knoll of Claremont, California. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Matthew W. Garst, Rachel M. Page, Matthew Tabel Carlene Armour and family and Carl James Edgell and family.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Barbara Faye Young on February 22, 1997.
