Walker, age 73, passed away at Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma, on Thursday, January 8, 2009.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 12, 2009, at the Assembly of God Church in Konawa, Oklahoma, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. Burial will follow at Dora Cemetery. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate. Pallbearers are Sean Walker, Jarrod Glover, John Glover, David Green, Otis Gilbert, and Frankie Walker. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Walker, James Mullen, and Alfred Robertson.rnrnWallace was born on March 1, 1935, in Dora, Oklahoma, to Rex C. Walker and Johnnie Francis (Dollar) Walker. He married Mary Jo Bridgeman on January 15, 1965, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He worked as an oilfield pumper and was an honorary member of the Brooksville Voluntary Fire Department. He was an army veteran.rnrnWallace is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Walker of the home; one son, Billy Walker and wife, Sharetta of Konawa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Tammie Glover and husband Dennis of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Tamela Walker of Elk City, Oklahoma; four brothers, R. C. Walker of Ft. Worth, Texas, John Murel Walker of Konawa, Oklahoma, C. O. Walker of Aspermont, Texas, and Victor Walker of Konawa, Oklahoma; one sister, Virginia Elizabeth Walker Biela of Ft.
