William Snyder

William Lester Snyder, Sr., 60 William “Bob” Snyder, Sr. a long time Seminole resident passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 60.  William was born January 22, 1952 in West Virginia to parents, William Okie and Myrtle Snyder. He moved to Seminole in 1985 from New Jersey, he was a self employed automobile mechanic. William’s wife Linda Lou (Hasher) Snyder preceded him in death on November 21, 1994. William is survived by one son, William Snyder, Jr. and daughter-in-law Angela Harjo of Seminole, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Jayla Snyder of Seminole, Oklahoma, Ryan Snyder of Tennessee and Lincoln Jones of Seminole, Oklahoma. William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Myrtle Snyder; wife, Linda Snyder; two grandchildren, Jacob Harjo, Jeremy Snyder and twelve siblings. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Little and Rev. Dorsey Nero officiating the service. Burial will take place at Harjo Cemetery south of Wewoka, Oklahoma. William will be taken to 1130 University in Seminole for viewing until Saturday morning. Casket bearers are: Jimmy Harjo, Jr., Jimmy Harjo, Sr., Clifford Tanyan, Albert Tiger, Marty Haynes and Daniel Milisap.
