William Lee “Bill” Pogue, 77, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away August 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born April 29, 1941 in Duncan, Oklahoma to parents, Quincy T. Pogue and Lillie May (Brown) Pogue. Bill married Sandra May (McCollum) Pogue on June 10, 1961 in Velma, Oklahoma. Bill & Sandra moved to Seminole in 1976 from Velma, Oklahoma. He worked in the oilfield all his adult life. He was the owner/operator of Arrow Pump and Supply. Bill loved his customers and vendors and always treated his employees like family. Bill attended Seminole First Assembly of God Church. He loved drag racing, raising cattle and being with his family and his bulldog, Tucker. He liked OU football and donated to many local schools and youth activities. Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home, son and daughter-in-law; Cris and Shelly Pogue of Seminole, Oklahoma, his daughter and son-in-law; Jamie and Jeff Goodnight of Seminole, Oklahoma, brothers; Wayne Pogue of Skellytown, Oklahoma, Randall Pogue and his wife Shirley of Ada, Oklahoma and Donald Pogue and his wife Barbara Pogue of Owasso, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Jordan and Sheldon McCoy, Jacey and Conner Kean and Rylee Pogue, great-grandchildren; Asher and Harper McCoy. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Cindy Lee Pogue, sister; Margie Neal, sister-in-law; Laverne Pogue and brother-in-law; Leonard Neal. Graveside services for Bill will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Doyle Long officiating.
