William Lee Newman

William Lee Newman, 49, longtime Okmulgee, Oklahoma resident, now of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Seminole, Oklahoma. William was born July 27, 1965 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Evelyn L. ( Hembree) and William Lee Newman. William moved to Earlsboro, from Okmulgee 2 years ago. William worked as a paint and body man and worked on classic cars, loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was a big supporter of the community of Okmulgee and Narcotics Anonymous. William is survived by his sons, William Newman, Kyle Newman and Scott Patrick all of Missouri, one daughter Jennifer Newman of Missouri, two brothers, Tony Newman and Johnny Newman, both of Wayne, Oklahoma, two sisters, Sandy Bowman of Prague, Oklahoma and Marie Rogers of Dibble, Oklahoma, special guardian angels, Jennifer and Denver McCray of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, who he lived with and they took special care of him. He was also survived by fifteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one nephew Joshua Alexander and son-in-law Darren Fournell. Memorial services will be held, 2:30 P.M.,Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
