William L. Love

William L. Love, 63, Bowlegs resident, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his home. William was born August 17, 1952 in Bowie, Texas to Albert Christifer Love and Irma Iune (Fitzgerald) Love,  William grew up on a turkey farm in Jamestown, California and  moved to Bowlegs, 6 ½ years ago from Calipatria, California. William attended and received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture education from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, California and his Master’s degree in Agriculture Education from The University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. William was a High School Agriculture Education Teacher for 38 years in California, Idaho and Montana. William was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bowlegs, Oklahoma, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was an avid reader and loved to learn and he considered himself a “Jack of All Trades and Master of None”. William was a volunteer fireman and enjoyed collecting fire trucks, used fire equipment and other fireman related memorabilia.  He met Mary A. (Brunk) Love at the Moreno Valley High School in Moreno Valley, California where they both had their 1st teaching position. They were married on December 17, 1977 in Sunnymeade, California. William is survived by his loving wife 38 + years Mary A. Love of Maud, Oklahoma, two sons Clayton Allen Love and his wife Latisha of San Antonio, Texas, William Stuart Love and his wife Crystal of Dothan, Alabama, a daughter Leigh Ann Gallion andher husband Chris of Edgewater, Maryland, one sister Chris Koschnitzke and her husband Walter of Racine, Wisconsin, five grandchildren; Cameron Love, Brooke Love, Aubrey Love, Grayson Love, Audrey Gayle Love. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Bowlegs, Oklahoma with Rev. Andy Quinton officiating.
