William “Bill” Haynes, 86 year old longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born March 17, 1932 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to parents Henry Haynes and Nancy (Jacobs) Haynes. Bill enlisted in the United States Army on March 15, 1951. During his service to our Country he was injured and honorably discharged. Bill was also a member of the Creek Nation of Oklahoma. Bill married the love of his life, Delores Jean Thlocco on March 31, 1959 in Okemah, Oklahoma at the First Christian Church. Bill was a hardworking man who worked many years driving a tank truck for Tiger Trucks until his retirement. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Bill was an outdoors man who enjoyed the sunshine and nature. To know him was to love him and he will be missed by so, so many. Bill leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Delores Jean (Thlocco) Haynes of the home; two sons, Marty Haynes of Seminole, Oklahoma, Billy Haynes of Seminole, Oklahoma; two daughters, Serena Vigil of Seminole, Oklahoma, Latrisha Allen and her husband Paul of Rockaway Beach, Missouri; three sisters, Pauline Forest of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Lou Crofut of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Pauline Counts of Henryetta, Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family including Angela and William Snyder and Anthony and Stephanie Tiger who he had added to his heart; and many dear friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nancy Haynes; by one son, Martin Haynes who died in 2012; by one daughter, Wendy Haynes who died in 2017; by four brothers, Elmer Haynes, Sonny Haynes, Vernon Haynes, Hoover Haynes; and by one sister, Evelyn Quinton. A wake service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Military Honors. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma with Eric Thlocco and Kevin Fox officiating the service. Casket Bearers will be: Brandon Vigil, Derek Vigil, Paul Allen Jr., John Allen, Billy Allen, Josh Allen, Shadow Haynes, Jerry Haynes, Ty Haynes and William Haynes. Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Paul Allen, C.J. Vigil, Jonathan Gates, Anthony Tiger, William Snyder and Randall Watson.
