William Hack

March 10, 1924 — August 5, 2015

William Louis Hack, age 91, was born March 10, 1924 and died August 5, 2015. He was married on May 15, 1943 to Anna Lorene Presley and they were married for 72 years. He served in World War II as a Private in the U. S. Army in the Philippines and New Guinea where he received the Bronze Star. He opened Hack’s service station after the war. Later he was manager of a supply store in Hutchinson, Kansas; He worked for Mid Continent Supply Company in Seminole, Lindsay and Duncan, Oklahoma. In 1956 he started Hack’s Tank Truck Company, which he ran for 8 years. In 1961 he moved to Mesa, Arizona and was a car Salesman. After moving back to Seminole he word for Montgomery Ward and American National Insurance Company, in Shawnee, Oklahoma where he retired. He also did Real Estate and Royalty abstract work. He was a good father who enjoyed doing things with his family. He loved talking with people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas Hack and Martha Elizabeth (Taylor) Hack of Seminole, One brother Clyde Hack and sister-in-law Virginia Franklin Hack of Oklahoma City, Okla. Three sisters Mildred Sluder and brother-in-law Nolan of Tyler, Texas, Edith Clark and brother-in-law Billy of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Phyllis Loraine McMichael of Seminole. He is survived by his wife Anna Lorene (Presley) Hack of the Home, on son William Louis Hack, Jr. of Seminole, two daughters Carol Lou Ann Plockot of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Lana Colette Hitchcock of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one granddaughter Sherry Renee Plockot Fraley of Texas, four grandsons; Scot Plockot of Euless, Texas, Dr. John William Hitchcock of Ponca City, Okla., Sky Kayton Hitchcock of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Aaron Thomas Hitchcock of Oklahoma City, Okla.  Four great granddaughters Laney Hitchcock, Alysia Plockot, Megan and Laura Fraley, two step-granddaughters, Jesteen Case and Faith Wheeler, five great grandsons; Joshua Hitchcock, Thomas Hitchcock, Ayden Hitchcock, Conner Hitchcock and Chase Fraley. Graveside Service were held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Maple Grove Cemetery, with military honors. Gus Monreal officiated at the service. Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma was in charge of arrangments.   Serving as casket bearers are: John Hitchcock, Sky Hitchcock, Aaron Hitchcock, Scott Plockot, Danny Presley, and Curtis Presley. Honorary bearers are Gerald McMichael and L.B. Short.
