Wesley Butts

Longtime Seminole county resident Wesley George Butts passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in Seminole Estates Nursing Home at the age of 71.rnrnHe was born on September 25, 1936 in Apple Springs, Texas to John and Lottie (Collins) Butts. rnrnHe married Kathryn (Cullum) on February 25, 1959 in Okemah, Oklahoma; she preceded him in death on October 23, 2004. He worked for many years in the oilfield running rigs. rnrnHe is survived by brother, Richard Butts of Dover, Oklahoma, sister Bertha Moore of Borger, Texas, and grandsons; Floyd Harrison, Jr., Lesley Harrison, Byron Harrison and Ryan Harrison in Springdale, Arkansas. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lottie Butts, wife, Kathryn Butts, daughter, Tammy Louann (Butts) Harrison, two infant children, brother, Earl Butts, half brothers, Demond and Delmar Ross and two sisters, Geneva Robinson and Dorothy Wells. rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma with Larry Chesser officiating.rnrn Funeral Information: March 21, 2008, 2:00 AM
