Wanda Douthit

Wanda “June” Douthit passed through this life and entered the gates of heaven on February 16, 2015; she was surrounded with love and God’s comfort. June was born June 27, 1938, born second as a twin to her sister Joyce Pettit, to Ruby Mae (Marchant) and Woodrow Murl Foster in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.      June was a member of the God’s Assembly Church in Seminole, Ok and when she was able to attend, she loved to sing the Gospel of the Lord.  She applied God’s word in everything she did throughout life.      At the age of 15 June married and began her family, two children were born; Beckie Cooper Green and Donnie Cooper. On November 3, 1979 she married Donald Douthit and gained a step son Terry Douthit.      June is survived by her daughter Beckie (Cooper) Green of Gage, Ok, son Donnie Cooper and his wife Amy of Shattuck, Ok., stepson Terry Douthit and his wife Linda of Tuttle, Ok. She had eight grandchildren, Traci Wade, Rachel Gonzales, Treshieva Haulcomb, Colton Green, Logan Green, Catrina Cooper, Jessika Cooper and Houston Green. June also had sixteen great grand – children that she loved dearly.      She is preceded in death by parents, Woodrow and Ruby Foster, her husband Donald Douthit, and one sister Joyce Pettit.      Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday February 21, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Ok, with burial at Wolf Cemetery, Seminole County, Ok.
