Wanda Lee Cotton, 81, Wewoka resident died August 3, 2011 at her home. She was born November 28, 1929 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Loren and Wilda Ada (Ogden) Cotton. Wanda lived in Seminole most of her life; graduating from Varnum High School and in her earlier years worked for the City of Seminole as a bookkeeper. She had also worked in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Saginaw, Michigan. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to collect things, especially books. She was remembered as one who never met a stranger. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-laws; Ella and Charles Floyd of Edmond, Oklahoma and Elizabeth and Jack Sargent of Saginaw, Michigan. 19 nieces and nephews also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Charles, Loren Jr., Joe T., Robert, Gary, infant boy, and sister Barbara Knight.  Memorial services will be held on 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Amazing Grace Pentecostal Holiness Church at 104 W. Walnut St. in Seminole, Oklahoma with Danny McGehee officiating. Burial will be at Little Cemetery. Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole is in charge of the arrangements.
