Wanda “Faye” (Glover) Campbell , age 93 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Rivermont Assisted Living in Norman, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Assembly of God Church of Konawa, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Mitch Williams and Frank Goodrich will officiate, and burial will follow at Wolf Cemetery. Casket bearers are Chase Townley, Thomas Townley, Kevin Townley, Darren Townley, Jody Johnson, and Deriek Patterson.
Faye was born November 4, 1927 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Manuel Glover and Nora Mae (Browder) Glover. She loved to cook, sew, quilt, and tell jokes. Faye was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Konawa. She married Pat Townley July 25, 1951. Later after Pat’s passing, she married Paul Campbell September 4, 1976.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Townley and wife, Teresa of Purcell, Oklahoma, and Tom Townley and fiancé, Marci Isaacson of Newcastle, Oklahoma; one daughter, Patti Gatlin and husband, David of Meeker, Oklahoma; three sisters, Jean Monroe and husband, Alvin, Gloria Goodrich and husband, Eck, and Betty Patterson, all of Konawa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Nora Mae Glover; first husband, Pat Townley on April 1, 1974; second husband, Paul Campbell on July 25, 2009; one sister, Judy Rains; one brother, Kenneth Glover; one sister-in-law, Wilma Glover; and three brothers-in-law, Don McLeister, Lynn Patterson, and Don Rains.
