Wanda Mae Bruner, 80, Wewoka, Oklahoma resident, passed away, Thursday, February 20, 2020 in Prague, Oklahoma. Wanda was born May 18, 1939 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to George Bruner and Martha May Factor. She grew up and spent most of her life in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. Wanda was a tribal member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. Wanda attended schools in Seminole county and graduated from high school. She loved quilt making, cooking and was a member of Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa. Wanda is survived by her sisters; Ruby Rose of Seminole, Oklahoma and Lena McWethy of Ada, Oklahoma and cousin; Serena Factor-Green, along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father Lawrence Chambers, family members Jesse Chambers, Tommy Chambers, Kenneth Chambers, Charlie Edward Chambers, Harry Factor, Jeffie Factor and Mildred Martin. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Lord’s Community Church at 501 N. 5th Street, in Seminole, Oklahoma , with Pastor’s Jimmy and Nita Moreland officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Viewing for Wanda will start, Monday, February 24, 2020. Casket bearers will be Tim McWethy, Robbie McWethy, Jordon Dawkins, Trent Haley, Bennie Houck and Hunter McWethy.
