Wallace B. Harjo, 47 years old, former resident of Seminole County, passed away from this life on January 4, 2007 in Broward County Florida. He was a freelance employee who traveled throughout the United States.rnrnWallace was born June 23, 1959 at Talihina, Oklahoma to the late George and Christine B. Harjo of Seminole. He was a tribal member of the Seminole Nation Eufaula Band and of the Sweet Potato Clan. He was also a member of the United States Army Reserve and Hitchitee Methodist Church. He attended Varnum School. rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Kimble B. Harjo, grandparents Sampson B. Harjo, Sena Larney, Siah Brown and Lucy Clark.rnrnHe is survived by six brothers: Thomas Ahaissee of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Sam B. and Geneva Harjo of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Mody B. and Lisa Harjo of Denver, Colorado, Marsey B. Harjo of McLoud, Oklahoma, Yogi B. and Naomi Harjo of Del City, Oklahoma and William B. Harjo of Seminole, Oklahoma, four sisters, Lucy and James Smith, Nancy Fixico, and Sonja Larney all of Seminole, and Sharon and Mike Proctor of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Special uncles and aunts Agnes and Dorsey Nero of Seminole and Virginia Blanchard of Shawnee, Oklahoma also survive him. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family and friends also survive him. rnrnWake services will be held at 6:30pm, Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel. rnrnHe will be taken to the Strother Community Center at 4:00pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 for an all night service.rnrnFuneral Services will be 1:30pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Strother Indian Community Center in the Strother community, North East of Seminole with Mike Harjo and Dorsey Nero. rnrnPallbearers will be nephews; Tom Harjo, Sam Harjo, Jr., Ryan Smith, Jeff Fixico, Kimbo Harjo, Timothy Proctor, J.B.
