Vivian Ann Lemmings

Vivian Ann Lemmings, 78, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Vivian was born on November 27, 1946 in Meeker, Oklahoma to parents Garvin Roberts and Laverne (Ash) Roberts. Vivian grew up in Seminole, went to school and graduated from Varnum High School in 1966. She enjoyed being with her family and spending time with the family, friends and grandchildren.

Vivian was married to Robert Dale Lemmings on September 5, 1969 in Seminole, Oklahoma. They enjoyed 55 happy years together.

Vivian was a housekeeper and loved needle work, sewing, quilting, Genealogy, looking for ancestors, making cakes and baking. She won many quilting events at county fairs. Once on a trip to Houston, Texas to do some ancestry hunting, Vivian and Jennie Clemens, her cousin, got pulled over by the feds because Vivian had her head out of the sunroof of the car taking pictures.

Vivian is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Lemmings of Seminole, Oklahoma, her son and daughter-in-law Stephen and DaRinda Lemmings of Spaulding, Oklahoma, her daughter Lori Ann Reynolds of Seminole, Oklahoma, her brother Johnnie Roberts of Seminole, Oklahoma, her sister Betty Lawson of Seminole, Oklahoma, her granddaughters and grandsons; Geneva Reynolds, JaRinda and Gary Gentry, Kayla and Marshall Niedo, Ashley and Logan Goforth, Stephanie and Christian Zambrano, Josh and Gus Hull ( Twins) and Viva Hull and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Garvin and Laverne Roberts, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Fred and Ruth Lemmings.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
