Longtime Seminole resident Virginia Dee Young passed away on June 15, 2007 in her home at the age of 76.rnrnShe was born in Pottawatomie County on November 5, 1930 to Frank and Lola Mae (Hollingshead) Shorney.rnrnVirginia married Troy V. Young on February 14, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She retired from the Bowlegs School System in 1993 where she was a cook for 14 years. rnrnHer parents and two grandsons: Jason and Shawn Sexton. precede her in deathrnrnShe is survived by her husband of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law: Troy V. and Cheryl Young, Jr. of McLoud, Oklahoma, and John T. and Trish Young of Shawnee, two daughters and son-in-law: Cheryl A. and Bobby Morrison of Seminole, and June M. Sexton of Seminole.rnrnShe is also survived by Eight grandchildren: Nathan Young, Timothy Young, Ashley Young, Jeremy Sexton, Megan Sexton, Crystal Richards, Tammy Sexton and Frankie Young, as well as ten great grandchildren.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
