Virginia Lee Bobbitt was born December 13, 1927 in Seminole, OK to Rudolph and Gail (Busha) Hyatt. She married Dwayne D. Bobbitt on September 21, 1943, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Virginia grew up in the Pleasant Grove area west of Seminole and attended Pleasant Grove Schools. Virginia was a minister’s wife with her husband Rev. Dwayne D. Bobbitt serving churches in Oklahoma, California, Texas and Arkansas. Virginia’s heart was full of love and she shared that love with her family and many, many foster kids over the years. Virginia formerly participated in the Red Hat Society in Seminole and helped with the Interfaith Ministries Food Bank in Seminole, and was active at the Seminole New Age Nutrition Center. She is preceded in death by husband Rev. Dwayne D Bobbitt; Daughters, Coileen Bobbitt and Eileen Smart; Parents Rudolph Lee and Gail Hyatt; Sisters, Louise Chandler and Dolphie Begley Rounsivill and Brother, Dennis Hyatt. Survived by her son-in-law; Rich Smart and his wife Ella Smart of Ft. Worth, Texas, her granddaughters: Leona Bolding and husband, Mark of Oak Point, Texas; Gail Snider and husband, John of Saginaw, Texas; Lisa Milam and husband, Jeff of Derby, Kansas; Regina Stillwell and husband, Daniel of Seminole, Oklahoma. Great Grandchildren; Alex Snider of Saginaw, Texas; Elaine Johnson and husband, Shane of Godley, Texas; Joshua Bolding of Oak Point, Texas; Justin McGee of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Eric Stillwell and wife Armani of Wewoka, Oklahoma; Samantha Stillwell of Seminole, OK; One sister, Deloris Graves Eldorado of Kansas. Great great grandchildren (coming in 2019), Houston Johnson and Amelia Stillwell. Honorary family Joe and Sandra Houck of Oklahoma City and daughters Tasha Barnett and husband Matt of Oklahoma City; Crystal McQueen and husband James of Derby, Kansas. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Donnie Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Casket Bearerers will be: Alex Snider, Joshua Bolding, Justin McGee, Eric Stillwell, Shane Johnson and Larry Davidson. Honorary Casket Bearer will be Joe Houck.
