Virda Moore

Virda Maxine Moore passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 74. She was born on October 7, 1934 in Haskell, Oklahoma to Otis and Alda P. (Rodgers) Webster.  She was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for over 35 years where she retired from Oakridge Nursing Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Sheriff’s Association and Nurse’s Association.  She was also an honorary member of the Rogues Motorcycle Club in Seminole and Lawton.  She is survived by two daughters; Marcia Lee Hensley of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Brenda Sue Teel of Muskogee, Oklahoma, step-son, Benny Houck of Seminole, brother, Herbert A. Webster of Seminole and two sisters, Dolly Snyder of California and Carrie Magle of Austin, Texas.  She is also survived by, 9 grandchildren; Christel (Hensley) Wood, Johnny Kiser, Sonny Kiser, Ronnica Teel, Stephanie Alltop, Shawn Alltop, Deana Webster, Brandy Teel, and Leaha Tee, 41 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband David Moore, three sisters; Geneva, Lula and Lorene, four brothers; Gene, Alvin, Roy and J.R., one son, Alvin Eugene Teel and two grandchildren; Tammy Teel and Scotty Webster. Caskets bearers will be Great Grandsons.  Honorary Bearers will be Grandsons and Nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Little Chapel at Little Cemetery.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery located on Hwy 99 just North of Seminole.
