Viola May Smith

Viola May (Hunt) Smith, 83   Viola May Smith a long time Seminole county resident passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at Seminole, Oklahoma. Viola was born on February 21, 1928 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to parents, Walter Leslie Hunt and Myrtle Mary (Williams) Hunt. Viola married Roy E. Smith in 1948 and Roy proceeded her in death in April 7, 1982. Viola worked as an operator at a telephone office, worked at Blue Bell, Viola also worked in sales at Woolworths. Viola is survived by one son, Roy Edward Smith, II of the home, one daughter, Cathy Ann (Smith) Crawford of Seminole, Oklahoma, two sisters, Lois Millison of Pawhuska and Emma Wamego of Tulsa, Oklahoma and nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Graveside service for Viola were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma with Jeff Smith officiating.
