Veronica Lynn Simon

Veronica Lynn Simon, Newkirk resident, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Veronica was born on October 15, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to William and Opal Vivian (Tiger) Paschal.

Veronica enjoyed working outside in her yard.  She also liked baking, sewing, playing bingo and spending time at the casino.  She lived in many places throughout her life and made the most of her gypsy lifestyle living free as the wind.

Veronica is survived by her mother, Opal Cloud; two sons, James Cloud of Oklahoma City, OK and Rodney Looper of Blackwell, OK; daughter, Opal Oranchak of Newkirk, OK; two brothers, Robert “Buddy” Paschal of Seminole, OK and Michael Paschal of Arkansas City, KS; four sisters, Kathy Paschal of New York; Tammy Jones of Seminole, OK, Betty Ann Morris of Arkansas City, KS and Norma Paschal of Arkansas City, KS; nine grandchildren, Kayce Oranchak, Emma Oranchak, Greyson Oranchak, Jamie Cloud, Josie Cloud, Holland Cloud, Landyn Looper, Hadynn Looper and Tyler Looper; great grandson, Charlie Jack and many other family and friends.

Veronica was preceded in death by her father, William Paschal; husband, Robert Simon and son, Anthony Looper.
