Vera Faye Roberts, 67, longtime Seminole resident died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Intergris Seminole Medical Center. She was born October 7, 1943 in Seminole to John Wesley Quinalty and Dorothy Patricia (Lewis) Quinalty. Mrs. Roberts worked as a machinist at Eaton Corporation in Shawnee, Oklahoma from 1978 to 1997 when she retired. She moved to Seminole 20 years ago and was a member of the Bowlegs Assembly of God Church. She loved her church and music, she also played the guitar and enjoyed singing and enjoyed going to the Seminole Gospel Singing every summer. She loved crafts and enjoyed making beadwork. Vera also loved to be outdoors and go fishing and spending time with her family. Vera was married to Tim Roberts in Shawnee, Oklahoma on Dec. 24, 1987. Her husband Tim Roberts of Seminole, Oklahoma and four sons, Michaael Little of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jeff Little of Harrah, Oklahoma, Kevin Little of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Bobby Christian of Seminole, Oklahoma and one daughter Tasha Roberts of Seminole, Oklahoma, survive her. Three brothers Steve Quinalty and Stan Quinalty both of Seminole, Oklahoma and Mark Quanalty of Shawnee, Oklahoma, three sisters Patricia Stevens of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Ada Ferguson of Seminole, Oklahoma and Roberta Morgan of Del City, Oklahoma also survive her. Four grandchildren also survive her; Angie Little, Rachel Little, Jennifer Christian and Rhiannon Roberts who was the light of her life the last few years. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday January 25, 2011 at the Bowlegs Assembly of God Church with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at the Little Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Michael Little, Kevin Little, Bobby Christian, Steve Quinalty, Stan Quinalty and Jeff Little. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
