Vera Mullen

Vera M. (Palmer) Mullen, Age 90, passed from this life Friday, November 2, 2007 at Seminole Estates Nursing Center in Seminole. Vera was born October 16, 1917 in Seminole County to James Washington and Rhoda Emily (Sorrel) Palmer. She was a lifelong resident of Seminole County and was a housewife.rnrnShe married Dallas Lando Mullen on November 30, 1935 in Roscoe, Oklahoma south of Seminole and he preceded her in death after 54 years of marriage, on March 20, 1990.rnrnShe is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Mildred Mullen of Midwest City, Oklahoma. One Sister, Denver Hardin of Grants Pass, Oregon. 2 Grandchildren Teresa Anson and Melissa Marquis both of Wolf, Oklahoma, and three great-grandchildren.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one Son, Gerald Eugene Mullen, and his wife Gladys, a Daughter Wilma Frances Mullen, three sisters and six brothers. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Gerald "Jerry" D. Mullen.rnrnFuneral Service are planned for Monday, November 5, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Pixley Officiating, assisted by Rev. Allen Wood. Interment will follow at Wolf Cemetery, South of Seminole.rnrnCasket bearers will be: James W.
