Vanessa Gail (Kramer) Butler

Vanessa Gail (Kramer) Butler, age 56 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20th at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.  Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Vanessa was born on June 17, 1954 in Konawa to Vausey (Brazell) and Alvin Kramer.  She was a Konawa High School graduate, and she worked as a secretary for Barnett Bank.  Vanessa married Bob Butler on December 23, 1979 in Konawa.  She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Ada, Oklahoma, and she enjoyed taking care of farm animals. She is survived by her husband, Bob Butler of the home; one son, Christopher Wayne Butler of southern Florida; one daughter, Stacey Lynn Kramer of Edmond, Oklahoma; her mother, Vausey Kramer; one brother, Alan Keith Kramer of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Wilma Lamb of Konawa.
