Valerie Rose Narcomey

Valerie Rose Narcomey, known affectionately as "Sister", lifetime resident of the Seminole/Bowlegs area, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010, in Seminole at the age of 53 years.      Valerie was born on February 9, 1956, in Talihina, Oklahoma to Bill & Dorothy (Bean) Narcomey.      Valerie was a homemaker.  She enjoyed helping out others, volunteered to "ferry" friends and relatives to appointments and shopping trips.  She was known as the "Bib B" to all her nieces and nephews.       Valerie is preceded in death by her father, Bill Narcomey.      Valerie is survived by two sons, Eric Narcomey of Baltimore, Maryland and Phillip Narcomey of the home; three brothers, David W. Narcomey of Bristow, OK., Terry Narcomey of Ponca City, OK., Timothy Narcomey of Konawa, OK.; four sisters, Carol Narcomey of Seminole, OK., Darlene Satepauhoodle of Bowlegs, OK., Mary Willims of Depew, OK., and Lenora Narcomey of Seminole, OK., and a host of nieces, naphews, grand-nieces and grand-nepehews.        Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Konawa, OK., with the Rev. Dorsey Nero officiating.  Services will be conducted by Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, OK.  Internment will follow at the family cemetery , east of Bowlegs, OK.      Casket Bearers will be:  William Narcomey, Bill Satepauhoodle, Bruce Williams, Joseph Haney, Larry Hill and Curtis Tanyan.       Honorary bearers will be:  Kenny Ray, Irving Riley, Richard Cole and Calvin Warledo, Tim Franklin and Chissi Narcomey.        Valerie will be taken to her home on Sunday, for viewing and a wake service is planned for Monday, January 25, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.     Funeral Information: January 26, 2010, 2:00 PM Cedar Creek Baptist Church located at NW of City, Konawa, OK 74849
