Valerie Lynn (Lyday) Harris

Valerie Lynn (Lyday) Harris, age sixty-four and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at her home.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Valerie was born June 27, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to Bill Lyday and Ernestine (Wise) Lyday Hamm.  She married Lonnie Harris December 7, 1972 in Ada, Oklahoma, and she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Dr. Gordon Dean of Ada.  Valerie was also a nurse for the Joseph Harper Facility in Lexington, Oklahoma.  She was a member of the Church of Christ of Sasakwa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Lonnie Harris of the home; her mother, Ernestine Hamm of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Jessica Climer and husband, Justin of Seminole, Oklahoma; three sisters, Vickie Williams of Frederick, Oklahoma, Carol Harding of Dallas, Texas, and Rhonda Avery of Atlanta, Georgia; and two grandchildren, Wyatt and Emma Climer.
