Tywana Underwood

Tywana Jo Underwood, 44 Former Seminole county resident, Tywana Jo Underwood passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the age of 44. Tywana  was living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.   Tywana, was born April 13, 1967 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents, Tecumseh Underwood and Virginia (Larney) Underwood. Tywana graduated from Plat College in Oklahoma City as a Graphic Design Artist, she was also a member of the Hitchitee Methodist Church of Seminole, Oklahoma. Tywana is survived by one son, Westley Underwood of Denver, Colorado, two brothers; Tecumseh Underwood of Colleen, Texas, George Lee Underwood of Fort Carson, Colorado, also surviving her are three sisters; Corena Underwood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sonja Larney of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Margarita Underwood of Colleen, Texas. Tywana was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia and her grandparents. Wake service will he held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at Swearingen Funeral Home with Elmer Haynes officiating. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Hitchitee Methodist Church with Rev. Houston Tiger and Rev. Abe Jackson officiating. Burial will take place at the Underwood Family Cemetery. Serving as Casket bearers; Nathan Harjo, Beau Underwood, Lance Underwood, Clayton Underwood, Ronnie Harjo, Chio Pipesteam and Honece Pipesteam.
