Lifelong Bowlegs area resident Troy E. Welch passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the age of 68 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.rnrnHe was born on May 20, 1938 to Ernest William and Beatrice Othela (Campbell) Welch in Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnHe has worked in the oilfield for the past twenty years as a self-employed pumper. He is a member of the Bowlegs First Assembly of God. He married Norma D. (Hilton) on February 6, 1955 in Seminole, Oklahoma. rnrnHe is survived by his wife of the home, three sons: Troy Dewayne Welch of Seminole, Daniel Lee Welch of Seminole, Oklahoma, William Douglas Welch of Ponca City, Oklahoma, three daughters: Deborah Cecil of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Denorma Phillips of Maud, Oklahoma, Angel Dianne Welch of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, two brothers: Leroy Welch of Earlsboro, Oklahoma and Clifford Welch of Indiana, one sister Viola Hopkins of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren also survive him.rntttrnHis parents, one brother Walter Danyear Welch and one sister, Ethel Sexton, precede him in death.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 3:00pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the First Assembly of God Church in Bowlegs, Oklahoma with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating. rnrnInterment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnPallbearers will be: Dewayne Welch, Daniel Welch and Doug Welch, Silas Welch, Steve Welch and Timmy Gentry.rnrnHonorary Bearers will be: Matthew Welch, Jeremy Welch, Marcus Welch, Tony Gentry, Billy Cecil, Joe Doyle, Christopher Gentry, Jordan Welch, Gene Welch, Teri Gentry, and Kaylin Welch.rnrn Funeral Information: November 7, 2006, 3:00 AM
