Troy Dustin Weaver , age 50 and resident in Konawa, Oklahoma left this earth on Friday October 7, 2023 after being transported to Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma.
Cremation was under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, and Troy's celebration of life memorial service was held at his home on Saturday October 14, 2023.
Troy was born on January 21, 1973 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to David Robertson and Carol (Charbeaneu) Weaver. Troy attended school at Kellyville, Oklahoma. He worked primarily as an electrician, but his capabilities were broad allowing him to dabble in automotive repair, carpentry, art, and even creating ghosts that fly around the yard for the upcoming Halloween festivities. Troy's talents and hobbies were both endless. Troy had a strong and unwavering faith in God and was always quick to show kindness, patience, empathy, and generosity. Troy's heart lead his journey and defined his true being. If there was ever anything evident in Troy's life besides his faith in God, it was his apparent endless love for Brandi. He made it no secret that he worshiped the ground she walked on and thought she hung the moon. Troy's entire universe revolved around Brandi and her wishes. Troy and Brandi complemented one another like all couples should strive to do. Don't get me wrong they (being human) had some moments, but always were able to work through the obstacles and move forward. Troy and Brandi have their dog, “K-haus” that Troy loved like a child and spent countless hours with daily. Troy also always had a multitude of friends around with Jonny being an obvious favorite. The two of them spent an uncanny and undocumented amount of time together...doing only God knows what! Abe, Dave, Joey, and Smitty are a few of the other frequents that come to mind, but there were so many that there would be no possible way to name them without missing someone. Brandi would also like to express her gratitude to all who have shown such love since Troy's passing.
Troy is survived by two brothers: Boyd Charbeanu & Jason Walkenbauch; a step-son, Gavin Strength; and the love of his life, Brandi.
Troy was preceded in death by his father, and both maternal grandparents.
