Troy Dame

Longtime Seminole County resident Troy Dame passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Seminole Estates Nursing Center at the age of 81.rn rnHe was born on May 3, 1927 in Center, Oklahoma to George Andy and Ethel (Chaplin) Dame. rn rnTroy married Betty L. (Jones) Dame, she preceded him in death on March 16, 2007. rn rnHe retired from Law Enforcement where he was the Chief of Police for many years for the City of Konawa. He also for worked for Pontotoc and Seminole County for many years. He was also a truck driver and served in the United States Air Force. rn rnTwo sons survive him: Troy D. Dame of Seminole, Oklahoma and Michael Anderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive him. rn rnHe is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel Dame, wife, Betty L. Dame and numerous brothers and sisters. rn rnHe will be laid to rest in Center Cemetery in Center, Oklahoma. Private family services are scheduled. rn rn Funeral Information: May 7, 2008, 12:00 AM
