Troy Dale Cathey

Troy Dale Cathey, 68 year old Seminole resident, passed from this life on July 10, 2014 at his home in Seminole.  He was born June 1, 1946 in Seminole to parents, Mildred Gynith (Rogers) Cathey and Loyd Nelson Cathey. Troy grew up in Seminole where he graduated from Seminole High School in 1963.  He went on to further his education attending college for three years at Oklahoma State University.  Troy then joined the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War. Troy worked many years in the oilfield before retiring from an oilfield equipment supply company. Troy is survived by one son, Keith Cathey, two sisters, Patsy Gower of Mustang, Oklahoma and Sue Marshall of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Loyd Cathey. Cremation services were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
