Treasha Evette Goss went home to Glory on Friday, September 2, 2022 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. Treasha was born on February 2, 1964 in Seminole, Oklahoma to James Evertt Jackson and Neola Eloise (Berry) Jackson. Treasha attended New Lima Public School, graduating in 1982. She then attended Gordon Cooper where she began her nursing career as a CNA/CMA. She worked at Avonlea Cottage for numerous years as a caring and faithful nurse. She truly loved caring and serving others. She then continued her nursing work for Veteran’s Administration Medical Hospital. Treasha also attended ECU and received her surgical tech degree, and mobile chemicals for several years. She joined Oklahoma Army National Guard after high school in 1982 with 2120 Unit out of Wewoka, Oklahoma serving numerous years as logistic technician. Treasha loved gardening, dancing, traveling and fishing with her husband and family and barbecuing for her family and friends which she loved doing. She loved spending time with her family and attending church with her church family at First Baptist Church Lima where she was baptized at an early age. She was known for always picking up kids and being and animal lover. She will be truly missed by all.
Treasha is survived by her husband, Todd Goss; father, James Jackson; sons, Derrick Jackson and Jermaine Jackson; special niece, Invie Berry (Jackson); two brothers, Otis Jackson, Arthur (Polly) Jackson; two sisters, Collette Jackson Payne (Wendell) and Colletta Jackson David (Rodney).
Treasha was preceded in death by her mother, Neola Jackson; siblings, Kimberly Jackson and Bernard Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lima Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
