Toris Emanuel Louie, 77, New Lima resident, died Friday March 30, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Toris was born March 6, 1941 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Moman Louie and Betty E. (Wandick) Louie. Toris had served his country in the United States Navy; he also served as a deacon at the Scipio Baptist Church. Toris loved farming and reading. He is survived by his life partner; Michelle Stewart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his sons Keith, Brian, Juan, Micheal, Xavier, Myron, Rion and Ryan; his daughters Bridgit and her husband Chris, Aiko, Sara and Amiah, his brothers Tony Lacy and Oscar Edwards and sisters Cora Lee and her husband Al, Elizabeth Ruth, Betty Jean, Fay and Mary (May May) Metcalf and her husband Michael, along with 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, also Lenora Louie, Maxine Crawford, Sam Edwards and Doris Aline Louie and Jennie Mathis, Barbara Newsom Louie and Almeta Gould. The family will receive friends and family at a visitation on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m.  at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday April 7, 2018 at the New Lima School Auditorium, with Rev. Stacy Bert  and Rev. Lee Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Lima Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ray Jackson, Toris Louie I, Monzell Louie, Tyron Jackson, Sr., Xavier Louie and Toris Louie II. Honorary bearers will be Johnathan Louie, Brian Louie, Juan Louie, Chris Porter, Emmet Porter, Lionel Jefferson, Glen “Notorious Doc” Shaw. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral Information: April 7, 2018, 1:00 PM
