Torild Plumlee

Longtime Seminole resident Torild (Kristiansen) Plumlee passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 60. She was born on March 15, 1949 in Stavanger, Norway to Arne and Peggy (Madsen) Kristiansen. She married Melvin Ray Plumlee on April 15, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Torild was an executive secretary for Dresser Industries for many years. She loved to travel all over the world and her family was her life, she loved traveling in Europe with her son.  She was a devoted mother and was always involved in her son's life.  She loved gardening, fishing, spending time at the lake and loved her dogs.  She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 30 years Melvin Ray Plumlee and one son; Chris Plumlee of Seminole; and two step sons Thor Plumlee of Hammond, Louisiana and Toby Plumlee of Seminole, Oklahoma, one brother, Kjell Kristiansen of Norway and two sisters; Aase Sandvick and Inger Raaschou of Norway.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Friday, November 20, 2009 in the Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
