Tony Theodore Roulston

Tony Theodore Roulston, age 76, passed away on November 19, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Tony was a resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma. He was born December 16, 1942 in Vamoosa, Oklahoma to parents Zachary Taylor Roulston and Lessie Nora (Baker) Roulston. He graduated from Sasakwa High School and served his country honorably in the United States Army. Tony worked in the oilfield, was a heavy equipment operator, farmer and a welder. Tony enjoyed shooting and collecting guns, going on long walks and exercising after big meals, family gatherings and fellowship. He was a great story-teller and loved to dance. He enjoyed working on tractors, was a great welder and loved counting his cattle. He was always willing to help anyone in need and making work available for all his Sasakwa friends. Tony is survived by his children; Danny & Tammie Roulston of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Danita and Trey Williams of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Gina and Jesse Hudson of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, JoNell Robbins and Bobby Sturgeon of Bixby, Oklahoma, Wesley and Amber Roulston of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Theda and Chris Pogue of Sulphur Springs, Texas, brothers; Doyle and Sue Roulston of Edmond, Oklahoma and Hiram and JoQuita Roulston of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Ann Roulston and siblings; Joe Riley, Louie, Perry, Terrell, Dale, Taylor, Hardy, Dempsey, Beatrice, Inez, Lovenia and Juett. Tony’s funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Jimmy Freeman officiating.
