Long time Seminole resident, Tony Cagle, Sr. passed away at Seminole Estates Nursing Home Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the age of 82. rnrnTony lived in Seminole county for the past 60 years moving here from Wilburton, Oklahoma. He retired from Clausing Feed Supply in 1988 where he worked as a Purina Feed Salesman.rnrnTony was born to parents Jacob M. and Alice M. (Cooksey) Cagle on February 19, 1926. On July 14, 1946 in Spiro, Oklahoma he married Edna Mae Merchant.rnrnTony served in the United States Army as a Sergeant while stationed in the Phillipines during World War II. Tony was also a member of the Seminole Congregational Methodist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and Treasurer. rnrnTony is survived by wife, Edna Mae; son, Tony Cagle Jr. and daughter-in-law Nancy Cagle of Shawnee, Oklahoma; daughter, Cyndy and son-in-law Lewis Johnson of Wewoka, Oklahoma and sister, Mary Floyd of Stigler, Oklahoma. Tony is survived by grandchildren: Amy and husband Corey Roberts of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Brandy and husband Greg Wilson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Tony Cagle III of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Shawna and husband Matthew Hatter of Kiefer, Oklahoma and Kimberly Johnson of Wewoka, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and life long friends.rnrnThe family would like to give special thanks to Melody, Cindy, Donnie, Vickie and Lynn Pettit, his heartland family hospice.
