Tommy Gene Lewis

Tommy Gene Lewis, age 65 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Broadway Living Center in Lexington, Oklahoma. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Golden Years located at 308 W. 4th in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Chaplin John Gober will officiate.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Tommy was born to Mickey Maurine (McCan) Lewis and Billy Ray Lewis on July 31, 1952 in Midland, Texas.  Tommy loved to go fishing on Blue River.  Tommy was a self-employed Handyman.  His father, Bill and wife, Margaret wish to express a heartfelt “Thank you” to the staff of Golden Years in Konawa and to the staff of Broadway Living Center in Lexington for their kindness and love shown to Tommy. Tommy is survived by his father, Bill Lewis and wife, Margaret of Natchitoches, Louisiana; mother, Mickey Maurine Lewis of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Spencer Glen Lewis of Garland, Texas; and one sister, Geneva Lynn Weller of Mesquite, Texas. He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Ray Lewis in 2011. Funeral Information: September 7, 2017, 2:00 PM Memorial Service at Golden Years 308 W. 4th in Konawa.
