Tommy Lee Factor passed away on November 25, 2010. He was born on July 7, 1936, in Wolf, Oklahoma to August and Nina (Bender) Factor. He graduated from Wolf High School and later served in the U.S. Army before attending OSU Tech. Tommy married Wanda Sue Skidmore on May 3, 1961 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He worked for several years at Lear Siegler before being hired by General Motors to work in skilled trades in their auto assembly plant in Oklahoma City. He was a proud member of UAW Local 1999 and retired from GM in 1998. He was a member of the Tiger Clan and Tom Palmer Band of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. He served as a Deacon at the Central Church of Christ in Moore, being involved in benevolence work, bus ministry and serving as a youth sponsor. He was also very involved in Little League football and baseball in Moore, serving as president of both associations before spending several years as the Umpire-in-Chief for little league baseball. He became limited in his activities in the last several years but he never tired of enjoying his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Factor of Moore; son & wife, Kenneth and Julie Factor, and grandchildren Patrick, Mekko and Julia, all of Tulsa; daughter & husband Kathy and Dean Pollock, and grandchildren Jared and Zachary, all of Edmond; and son & wife Patrick and Karen Factor, and grandchildren Alyssa, Jacob, Kayla, John Brandon Chancey all of Moore. One half-brother, George Harjoche of Seminole, also survives him. Wake services will be Monday, November 29, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole and Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Central Church of Christ in Moore, Oklahoma with Tommy Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole. Casket bearers will be Danny Skidmore, Gary O’Neal, David Sanderfield, Rick Corley, James Drake and Mike Fletcher. Honorary bearers will be Jack Cooper, Gene Ford, Steve Atchley and Jim Lane. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
