Tom Marshall

Tom Marshall, Jr., 49, Wewoka resident died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Tom was born on July 30, 1964 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Rose M. (Stapp) and Tom O. Marshall, Sr.   Tom had lived in the Seminole County area for over 20 years. Tom work as a ground maintenance man at the Ada Country Club and Shawnee Country Club for many years. He loved fishing, camping, watching football, playing golf and being with his family.   He is survived by his parents; Tom and Rose Marshall, Sr. of Meeker, Oklahoma, three daughters; Jenny Marshall of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Tiffany Marshall of Claremont, Florida and Hannah Marshall of Seminole, Oklahoma, his two sons Tommy Marshall of Claremont, Florida and Troyce Marshall of Seminole, Oklahoma; five brothers Curtis Marshall and Stoney Marshall of Meeker, Oklahoma, Terry Marshall of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Ron Harris of Norman, Oklahoma and Ray Harris of Tishomingo, Oklahoma and a sister Ann Marshall of Midwest City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Brock and Sicily Carman, and Colton Marshall.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret Wright, PK Stapp, George Marshall and Mamie Marshall.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. Derryck Phillips will officiate, and burial will follow at the Harjo Family Cemetery East of Bowlegs, Oklahoma.   Wake services will be held 6:00 to 7:00P.M., Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, with Sam Johnson and Edwin Marshall officiating.   Casket bearers will be Troyce Marshall, Ramey Harrison, Ron Harris, Ray Harris, Terry Marshall, Stoney Marshall and Curtis Marshall. Honorary bearers will be Edwin Marshall, Brock Carman, JD Marshall, Jr., Tommy Marshall and Donnie Marshall.   Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
