Albert Thomas “ Toby “ Aldridge, 69, longtime Seminole resident died Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Toby was born July 26, 1942 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Ellis and Carmaleta (Payne) Aldridge. Toby grew up in the Seminole area and attended Bowlegs Public Schools and graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1960. Toby was a member of the Church of Christ in Seminole and a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. Toby also had worked for several years at the O G & E plant in Konawa, Oklahoma and the Goff Corporation in Seminole. Two sons Keith Aldridge of Seminole, Oklahoma and Jimmy Aldridge of Konawa, Oklahoma and two daughters Vickie Peters of Edmond, Oklahoma and Tracey Smith of Carroll, Texas survive him. Toby is also survived by three brothers Delbert Aldridge of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Gary Aldridge of Cushing, Oklahoma and Jay Aldridge of Seminole, Oklahoma and nine grandchildren Jorden Peters and Bronson Peters of Edmond, Oklahoma, Rocky Aldridge and Tommy Aldridge of Konawa, Oklahoma, Ross Aldridge and Reed Aldridge of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, Amber Palmer of Konawa, Oklahoma, Brently Aldridge of Seminole, Oklahoma and Justin Smith of Carroll,Texas, and several nieces and nephews. Toby was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gilbert Aldridge. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Church of Christ at 12040 Highway 99 North in Seminole. Arpoika Daniels will officiate at the service.
