Tisha Renae (Harjo) Gibson

Tisha Renae (Harjo) Gibson, age 29 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Midwest City Regional Medical Center. A Wake service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Sunday night, January 20th at the Pentecostal Church of God Indian Mission in Konawa. Rev. Arthur Carpitcher will officiate. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Tisha was born on August 18, 1983 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Curtis Tanyan and Jimmie (Harjo). She married Timothy Gibson on August 31, 2002 in Konawa. She loved her nieces and nephews and her family very much. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Gibson of the home in Tonkawa, Oklahoma; step-father, Johnnie Harjo and Mother, Jimmie; father, Curtis Tanyan; one brother, James W. Harjo of Tonkawa; three sisters, Katie Harjo of Ada, Oklahoma, Wythema Porras and husband, Francisco of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Jalena Harjo of Tonkawa; father-in-law, Anthony Gibson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Beth Harjo; mother-in-law, Linda Gibson; and one aunt, Charlotte Harjo.
