Timothy Evan Lowry, age 56, and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011. A wake service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.  Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Konawa. Pallbearers are Brad Kosemund, Mark Kosemund, Chad Pope, Joe Semtner, Mackey Shelton, Oness Carpenter, Alan Kramer, and Rex Munday.  Honorary pallbearers are the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and Jim Hodges. Tim was born on December 8, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Wanda (Gaines) Lowry and Rex Wortham Lowry.  He married Kathleen DeLonais on May 25, 1974 in Konawa, Oklahoma.   Tim served as a Pottawatomie County Reserve Deputy Sheriff for 24 years.  He was a certified welder and an oil producer for more than 30 years and has been a network consultant for Ada Public Schools since 1996.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and served on the parish council.  Tim served as president of the Sacred Heart Mission Historical Society since 1987. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Lowry of the home; his twin daughters Michelle Jesse and husband, Todd Jesse of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Melissa Wilson and fiancé, James Griffin of Mansfield, Texas; one son, Jason Lowry and wife, Kandice Lowry of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and his beloved nephew, Heath Lowry, who he considered his own, and his wife Rachele Lowry of Konawa; his mother, Wanda Lowry of Konawa, one sister, Debbie Jackson and husband, Danny Jackson; two brothers, Ronnie Lowry and Ricky Lowry of Konawa, six grandchildren, Mikala Wilson, Colten Jesse, Mikinley Wilson, Jaden Jesse, Mikenna Wilson, and Karsyn Lowry; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Lowry; son-in-law Marty Wilson, and grandparents, Edward and Essie Gaines, R.D. and Leona Lowry. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church stained-glass window restoration fund.
