Timothy Fisher Hayes, longtime Seminole resident, left this earthly world to be with his family on the other side while holding hands with his wife, Terry, on August 25, 2020 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; he was 68 years old.
On May 6, 1952 Timothy was born in Seminole, Oklahoma to John Lewis and Gladys May (Fisher) Hayes. He was the first baby born at the Children’s Hospital in Seminole.
Timothy attended school in Holbrook, Arizona. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force. He worked with Special Services conducting and setting up state shows, plays and bands for the troops. After his honorable discharge he moved back to Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma where he received his Aeronautical Engineering degree. He began his engineering career at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas; this was his passion for many years. Tim also cherished his motorcycles, watching history documentaries, Star Trek shows and movies. He was very family oriented and passionate about his 4-legged kids (especially Lalyce & Wiggles).
While living in El Cajon, California, Tim met and married Terry Lynn (Kuykendall) Hayes on January 6, 1990.
Tim is survived by his wife, Terry, of the home, daughter Teth Johnson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, son Tyms Hayes and wife Amy of Dewar, Oklahoma, son Shay Hayes and wife Lindsay of Duncan, Oklahoma, daughter Ashley Adams and husband Cody of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, son Nathan Hayes of Dickinson, North Dakota, son Alex Hayes of Okemah, Oklahoma, daughter Shelby Flowers and husband J.C. of Okemah, Oklahoma, brother Jerral Hayes and wife Emily of Buda, Texas, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mel and Sue Kykendall of Idaho Falls Idaho, 17 grandchildren (and one on the way) as well as many more family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Lewis and Gladys May Hayes, son-in-law Michael Johnson and by one brother Johnny Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Military Honors. Tim’s brother Jerral Hayes will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral costs can be made at Swearingen Funeral Home.
